You should have prefixed them with colons to prevent display in case of restoration. Also, please note that it is a serious violation of Commons rules to upload an image a second time after deletion as you did here. It wastes your time and that of other Commons editors. Photo request - Warwick church

Hi, it seems that in your recent pics you managed to capture something very important by chance! Bristol 406 Zagato?

Good morning Vauxford, first of all I'd like to thank you for these wonderful pictures that you contribute to the commons projects. It's nice to see them. They are useful illustrations for some of my articles on (British) cars. currently I am reworking the de:Bristol 406 article in German Wikipedia. I would like to have further information on this particular blue Bristol 406 (?) that you photographed last year. The file name indicates that this is a Bristol 406 from 1949. This could be true, and if it's true this is a very rare vehicle. Regular Bristol 406s were built from 1959 to 1961. Apart from the 150 or so standard 406 Saloons there were probably five or six special versions with 406 mechanics but different bodies from Zagato. These ones were built 1959 or 1960. The beautiful green car you photographed a couple of years ago is one of them. Moreover, in the early 1960s Bristol put some of these Zagato bodies on older chassis (Bristol 400 to Bristol 403). According to my sources, there were three or four of these "crossover models". So if this blue car (i.e. the chassis) really dates from 1949, the blue car should be one of these "crossover" cars... Yes, you are very correct with the crossover bodies which was built to 406 specification. The sources I found on Classic & Sports Car and auction sites matches to yours. I might have to renamed it since it can be slightly misleading. It said it was built by Startins of Birmingham which specialised in funeral vehicles and was used by the Co-operative Group (I presume Co-operative Funeralcare.) Mr.choppers I'll have to be quite lucky. ZR Express are quite rare, let alone it non-performance counterpart; the Commerce. As of Q4 2019, there currently 78 ZR Express taxed and 191 + SORN while there is 78 Commerce taxed 160 + SORN. Use of your photos...

Hey Adam,

Is it OK to use your photos of the 1986 Volkswagen Golf GTi 1.8 in a documentary? We are discussing a man who went on the run in a very similar model and would like to flash up a photo of it with the registration plate blurred. We will of course add a credit to it as per the licence.

Hi Adam, what a small world we seem to be in. My Grandad has just scrapped his car, a 2003 SEAT Cordoba after a long life lived. My sister was telling a car enthusiast about it, and they went to Wikipedia to see the kind of car it was. Well what do you know, it was your photo of HIS EXACT car. My parents and my Grandad have been amused and baffled as to why someone would take a picture of his "scrapheap". They've had a good laugh about it when I explained that this is what you do, and now his old car is preserved on the internet forever! TheLaughingGas Thank you for your kind words. I love cars like these for the reason your grandad describes them! My grandad also used to own an early 00s SEAT (A 2002 SEAT Toledo). They might not be the most undesired cars and often quite bland and boring but are highly practical and the majority still have a lot of life in them for many years to come, they are all part of history of the type of cars you would see on British road, or any road in the world. I admit, your grandad's Cordoba did look slightly rough and had a massive rust bubble on the rear arch which I managed to removed on Photoshop. How are you?

Hi Vauxford, hope you are well. I saw you reverted [my edit on the Yaris. Very sorry for that, however I felt that my images have improved? I do need some help because I do want to improve for the better and instead of arguing, I figured we talk about that. Again, i do wish to apologise for my 2018 behaviour and hope we can reconcile after very long time. I do not want to make the same mistakes as I did before, and do want some mentoring if possible. The reasonn why I replaced your Yaris photo, was not because it was bad, rather that I thought mine had a less distracting background with the simple wall. EurovisionNim The reason why I reverted those edits you did was because doing mass image replacing on different language Wikipedias albeit, not against the rules but it generally frown upon, especially when it a Wikipedia you aren't active on and only do edits on there solely to add your own photos on it. It why I stopped doing that a few years ago. I restored them to the last version done by another user. I left some pages unedited since they needed a new photo of the Yaris anyway, but yes don't do that again. --Vauxford (talk) 16:00, 1 August 2022 (UTC)

It was not necessary, but as the block applies to ENWP, I can edit other ones. I will try and do my best to improve. Again, if its frowned upon, still I can edit them, its just I will reduce it to a greater extent so it's best to mind your business. You also shouldn't evade your block by doing IP edits either. I'm surprised they haven't cracked down on that as well since I found lots of similar edits done by a range of IPs that I suspect are you, I could be wrong though. Vauxford, I was not evading my blocks. When I emailed Oshwah, he said to me that the ban/block only applies to English Wikipedia. In that regard, any user could be blocked from a single Wiki yet can edit multiple wikis. I will never ever evade a block or ban under any circumstances. If you want to check an IP, you should check it through an external website. I don't want to rat anybody out, but if the IPs are traced to Indonesians, more notably User: Alex Neman who happens to be banned from Enwp, yet he insists on creating these IPs to evade the ban. Michge Thank you for your kind words, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I was on holiday in Scotland for a week. I have been largely put off editing and uploading stuffs for a while now, factors include an ever-growing backlog of 4000-5000 photos from events etc as well as lack of willpower. How to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category

When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with {{SD|C2}} if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available or {{SD|C1}} if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused. In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page, as you did at Category:Peugeot 205 Tolman Edition. ("C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion).
